Bounce House Rental in Alto, MI — Delivered, Staked, and Sanitized

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan is a one-man, family-owned rental company in Caledonia, about 12 miles and 14 minutes from downtown Alto by way of M-50 and Alden Nash. Kevin, the owner, delivers, sets up, and tears down every bounce house himself.
Your $275 rental includes delivery, setup, stakes or sandbags, the cord, and a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing after your party. No delivery fee for an Alto address, no surprise line items. We’re fully insured and a 2026 GRKids Family Choice Awards Top 10 Birthday Party Place. Reserve online, or keep reading for where to set it up.
Where to set up in Alto
Alto yards are the easy answer. Between Bowne Center, the Campau Lake and Kettle Lake lots, and the acreage off Pratt Lake Avenue, most Alto families have more than the room a bounce house rental needs: a flat patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete about 30 by 22 feet (the unit plus 5 feet of clearance on every side), 20 feet of overhead clearance, and a standard outlet within 50 feet. No gravel, sand, or rock. On a lake lot, pick the flat stretch away from the shoreline slope.
Parks take a phone call first:
- Colby Park (6010 Linfield, next to the KDL Alto Branch) and Coldwater Park (100th and Morris Lake) are Bowne Township parks. The township doesn’t publish pavilion, power, or inflatable rules online, so call (616) 868-6846. The office is open Wednesdays and Thursdays only.
- North Riverfront Park (11998 Fulton St SE, Lowell Charter Township) has picnic shelters, a splash pad, and a gaga ball pit. Township rules require special permission for “spacewalks” and charge $25 per amusement; shelters are first come, not reserved. Call (616) 897-7600.
- Caledonia Lakeside Park (370 N Lake St SE, Kent County, about 14 minutes) rents an open shelter with water and electric for $150 to $175 a day. Kent County needs Park Manager permission two weeks ahead plus a $25 amusement fee. Call 616-632-PARK.
Inflatables aren’t new to Alto. The Harvest Festival’s Kids Zone sets them up on the green at Alto Baptist Church every September, so a church lawn is a natural spot for a bigger party too. Ask the church office where the nearest outside outlet is, and we’ll send a certificate of insurance.
What we bring
The Extra Large Bounce House is 20 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 16 feet 4 inches tall, with more than 300 square feet of bounce area, mesh windows all the way around, and fire-resistant vinyl. It rents for $275 per day. One blower runs on one standard 110V circuit; blower, cord, and stakes come with it. You supply the outlet within 50 feet and a grown-up to supervise. Five to six kids of similar size can bounce at once.
How it works
1. Book your date. Reserve on the rentals page. From May through September, book 2 to 4 weeks ahead; Saturdays fill first.
2. Kevin sets it up. He stakes it on grass or sandbags it on pavement, checks the blower, and goes over the safety rules with you.
3. Bounce, then we pack up. Kevin tears it down and runs the full sanitizing cycle (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection) before it goes to the next family.
Weather: inflatables come down if winds top 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if it looks unsafe. Bigfoot might be famous for disappearing into the woods, but we pride ourselves on showing up.
Bounce house FAQs — Alto edition
How much does a bounce house rental in Alto cost?
$275 for a one-day rental, including delivery, setup, takedown, and sanitizing. There’s no delivery fee for Alto. Add a cotton candy machine from $110 if you want a treat table.
Is delivery to Alto included?
Yes. Alto is about 12 miles and 14 minutes from our base in Caledonia. Every Alto address, from Bowne Center to the lake roads, gets the same $275 price.
Can I set up a bounce house at Colby Park?
Maybe. Bowne Township doesn’t publish park rules online, so nobody can promise it from a website. Call the township at (616) 868-6846 on a Wednesday or Thursday, ask whether a bounce house is allowed and whether there’s an outlet, and get a yes before you plan around it.
What power do I need?
One standard 110V outlet within 50 feet of the bounce house; we bring the cord. Plenty of Alto properties have a barn or pole-building outlet that works fine. No power at your spot? Ask us about generator options when you book.
Are you insured? Can you send a certificate of insurance to my school or church?
Yes on both. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and we’ll send a certificate naming your church, venue, or PTO. Alto kids are split between Alto Elementary (Lowell Area Schools) and Kettle Lake Elementary (Caledonia Community Schools, on Garbow Drive), so if either parent group wants a bounce house for a family fun night, we’ve got the paperwork ready.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September. Grad-party weekends and the second Saturday of September, when the Harvest Festival fills downtown, go fast, so book as soon as you have the date.

Ready to bounce? Book the Extra Large Bounce House online or call or text (616) 232-6077. We also bring the Dash N’ Splash water slide and foam parties to Alto. Nearby? We also serve Caledonia, Lowell, Cascade Township, and Middleville.
