Water Slide Rental in Alto, MI — Lake-Lot Summers, Backyard Splash

Water slide rental in Alto, MI: the Dash N' Splash inflatable water slide and obstacle course combo from Bigfoot Bounce Houses

Alto summers happen outside, on Campau Lake, on Kettle Lake, and on the big Bowne Township lawns in between. Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan brings the water slide to you from Caledonia, about 14 minutes and 12 miles down the road, with delivery, setup, and takedown included.

A water slide rental in Alto means one unit for us: Dash N’ Splash, a 25-foot water slide and obstacle course combo that runs wet or dry, for $349 a day. Kevin, a nurse and dad who runs the company solo, sets it up himself and goes over the rules before anyone climbs. We are fully insured, and every unit gets a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing between events.

Check your date and reserve Dash N’ Splash online, or text (616) 232-6077.

Where to set up in Alto

Dash N’ Splash is 25′ × 22′ and 17′ tall, so plan on roughly a 35′ × 32′ patch of yard once you add 5 feet of clearance on every side, plus 20 feet of overhead room clear of branches and wires. You supply two things within 50 feet: a standard outlet and a hose spigot. We bring the hose and the extension cord. Grass is best (we stake it), a concrete or asphalt driveway works with sandbags, and gravel is out. On a lake lot, use the flat stretch of lawn rather than the slope down to the dock; the splash pool catches the water at the bottom.

Public spots, honestly described:

  • Colby Park (6010 Linfield) and Coldwater Park (100th & Morris Lake) belong to Bowne Township, which publishes nothing about pavilions, water, electricity, or inflatables. Call 616-868-6846 (the office is open Wednesdays and Thursdays) and ask specifically about a spigot, because a water slide needs one.
  • Caledonia Lakeside Park (370 N Lake St SE, Caledonia, about 14 minutes) is a Kent County park with a written rule: inflatables need special permission at $25 per amusement, and you contact the Park Manager at least two weeks ahead. The open shelter has water and electric, $150 to $175 per day, up to 125 guests. Reserve online or at (616) 632-7275.
  • North Riverfront Park (11998 Fulton St SE, Lowell Township) has a seasonal splash pad and picnic shelters, reserved through the township at 616-897-7600. Water hookups, electricity, and inflatable rules are not published, so ask before you count on it.
  • Church lawns are a real option: the Harvest Festival Kids Zone sets up inflatables on the green at Alto Baptist Church each September. A church lawn with an outdoor spigot works the same way for a slide, and we send the office a certificate of insurance.

What we bring

Dash N’ Splash is 25′ long, 22′ wide, and 17′ high. Kids work through pop-up obstacles and tunnels, scale the climbing wall, and slide down into a splash pool. The pool is included, not an add-on. One person on the slide at a time; Kevin covers that and the rest of the rules at setup.

$349 per day, with delivery to Alto, setup, staking or sandbags, blower, hose, cord, takedown, and sanitizing all included. It runs on one blower on one standard circuit. You provide the outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet.

It runs wet or dry. For a July lake party, run it wet. For a chilly early-May birthday or a September gathering near Harvest Festival weekend, run it dry and it becomes a full obstacle course with a slide finish, same price, no soggy kids.

Pair it with the Extra Large Bounce House for the little kids, or add a foam party or a cotton candy machine (from $110).

How it works

1. Book your date. Pick your date on the rentals page, or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.

2. Kevin delivers and sets up. He stakes or sandbags the unit, connects the hose and blower, fills the splash pool, and walks you through the safety rules: one rider on the slide at a time and a responsible adult supervising throughout.

3. You enjoy the party. Afterward we drain, tear down, haul away, and run the three-step sanitizing (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection).

Weather: the slide has to come down if winds exceed 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if conditions look unsafe. Booking: 2 to 4 weeks ahead in peak season (May through September), and summer Saturdays go first.

Water slide FAQs — Alto edition

How much does a water slide rental in Alto cost?

Dash N’ Splash is $349 per day, all-in: delivery to Alto, setup, hose and cord, blower, splash pool, takedown, and sanitizing. There is no separate delivery charge for Bowne Township or Lowell Township addresses.

Do you deliver to Alto lake lots on Campau Lake, Kettle Lake, or Pratt Lake?

Yes. Alto is about 14 minutes and 12 miles from our Caledonia base, so every Alto address is inside the included delivery area. If the setup spot is a long walk from where Kevin can park, mention it when you book so he can plan the carry.

Can I set the water slide up at Caledonia Lakeside Park or North Riverfront Park?

Caledonia Lakeside Park, yes, with Kent County permission: $25 per amusement, contact the Park Manager at least two weeks ahead, and the open shelter has water and electric. North Riverfront Park in Lowell Township reserves its shelters at 616-897-7600, but water, electricity, and inflatable rules are not published, so ask first. For Colby Park in Alto, call Bowne Township at 616-868-6846.

What water and power do I need for the slide?

A standard outlet and an outdoor hose spigot, both within 50 feet of the setup spot. We bring the hose and the extension cord, and the blower runs on a single standard circuit. If your site has water but no power, ask us about generator options.

Are you insured, and can you send a certificate to my school or church?

Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured and provides a certificate of insurance on request for schools, churches, and venues, including a Kettle Lake or Alto Elementary PTO event or a church lawn like the Alto Baptist Church green. Just tell us the name to list.

How far ahead should I book a water slide in Alto?

Two to four weeks during peak season, May through September, and earlier for a summer Saturday. Lake parties tend to cluster on the same warm weekends, so if you have a specific date, lock it in as soon as you know.
