Water Slide Rental in Cascade Township, MI — Dash N’ Splash, Delivered From Next Door

Cascade Township sits right on Caledonia’s northern line, which makes it about the closest neighbor Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan has. A water slide rental in Cascade Township means Dash N’ Splash: a 25-foot water slide and obstacle course combo, $349 per day, delivered, staked, and taken down by Kevin himself, a nurse and dad who runs the company solo.
Cascade yards were built for it. The lots along the Thornapple River and off Cascade Road have the one thing a 17-foot slide needs most, which is room. We are fully insured, and every unit gets a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing between events.
Check your date and reserve Dash N’ Splash online, or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.
Where to set up in Cascade Township
Backyard first, because in Cascade that is where it will be. The slide is 25′ × 22′ and 17′ tall; with 5 feet of clearance all around, plan on a level 35′ × 32′ patch of grass and 20 feet of open sky with no branches or wires. You supply a standard outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet; we bring the hose and cord. Grass gets stakes, a driveway gets sandbags, and gravel is out.
The township parks are out, and we would rather say so plainly than have you find out after booking a pavilion. Cascade Township’s Park Reservations & Fees page says “No stakes or tents, bounce houses, or food trucks” at its rentable spaces, which means the Cascade Township Park pavilion and gazebo and the Wisner Pavilion at Tassell Park. A staked, water-fed inflatable breaks that rule twice, so we do not set up at township park structures. Questions go to Parks & Facilities at (616) 949-1500.
Where a water slide does work in Cascade:
- Church campuses on Cascade Road. Cascade Fellowship CRC and Thornapple Covenant, which stage the township’s July 4 parades, and Cascade Christian on Thornapple River Drive, which runs a kids’ ministry and VBS. A lawn with an outdoor spigot is all we need, and we send the church a certificate of insurance.
- Forest Hills school events. Thornapple Elementary on Bridgewater Drive, Collins, and Meadow Brook all have PTOs. We provide a certificate of insurance to the district office ahead of any field day or fun night.
- Kent County parks. Amusements are allowed with special permission from the Park Manager, requested two weeks ahead, at $25 per amusement. The nearest county shelter with water and electric is the open shelter at Caledonia Lakeside Park, just over the township line, $150 to $175 per day; call (616) 632-7275. Seidman Park in Ada lists no shelter or power, so it is a hiking spot, not a slide spot.
What we bring
Dash N’ Splash is 25′ long, 22′ wide, and 17′ high. Riders push through pop-up obstacles and tunnels, climb the wall, and drop into a splash pool that is included, not an add-on. One rider on the slide at a time; Kevin covers that and the rest of the rules before the first climb.
$349 per day, with delivery to Cascade, setup, stakes or sandbags, blower, hose, cord, takedown, and sanitizing included. It runs on one blower on one standard circuit. You provide the outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet.
It runs wet or dry: wet for a July birthday on a Cascade Lakes cul-de-sac, dry for a cool late-May party or a fall gathering, when it becomes a straight obstacle course with a slide finish at the same price, no soggy kids.
Pair it with the Extra Large Bounce House for the little kids, or add a foam party for the big ones or a cotton candy machine (from $110).
How it works
1. Book your date. Pick your date on the rentals page, or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.
2. Kevin delivers and sets up. He stakes or sandbags the unit, connects the hose and blower, fills the splash pool, and walks you through the safety rules: one rider on the slide at a time and a responsible adult supervising throughout.
3. You enjoy the party. Afterward we drain, tear down, haul away, and run the three-step sanitizing (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection).
Weather: the slide has to come down if winds exceed 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if conditions look unsafe. Booking: 2 to 4 weeks ahead in peak season (May through September), and summer Saturdays go first.
Water slide FAQs — Cascade Township edition
What does a water slide rental in Cascade Township cost?
$349 per day, with delivery, setup, hose, cord, blower, splash pool, takedown, and sanitizing included and no surprise fees. A cotton candy machine adds from $110.
Is delivery to Cascade Township included?
Yes. Cascade borders Caledonia directly, so every address from the Forest Hills side of the township to the 28th Street and Cascade Road corner is inside our included delivery area. If the setup spot is a long carry from where Kevin can park, mention it when you book.
Can we set up the slide at Cascade Township Park or Tassell Park?
No. The township’s reservation rules say no stakes, tents, bounce houses, or food trucks at its rentable spaces, and events there are capped at four hours. Ask Parks & Facilities at (616) 949-1500 if you like, but plan on a backyard, a church lawn, or a Kent County shelter.
What power and water do I need?
One standard outlet and one hose spigot, each within 50 feet of where the slide will sit. We bring the extension cord and hose, and the blower runs on a single standard circuit. No outlet at the site? Ask us about generator options.
Are you insured, and can a Forest Hills school or a Cascade Road church get a certificate?
Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured. Give us the event date and the office contact and we send the certificate of insurance ahead of time, to the district, the church, or whoever is signing off.
How far ahead should I book a water slide in Cascade Township?
Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September. Weekends go first, and July and August Saturdays go fastest, so if you have a specific date, lock it in as soon as you know.
