Water Slide Rental in Kentwood, MI — Wet or Dry, Splash Pool Included

Water slide rental in Kentwood, MI: the Dash N' Splash inflatable water slide and obstacle course combo from Bigfoot Bounce Houses

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan delivers the Dash N’ Splash water slide and obstacle course combo to Kentwood from our home base in Caledonia, a 16-minute drive up 52nd Street. Kevin, the owner, brings the hose, the cord, the stakes, and the splash pool, sets all of it up, and hauls it away when the party is over.

A water slide rental in Kentwood is $349 a day and runs wet or dry, so it works for a July birthday and a cool September one. Every surface gets a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing after each event, and we are fully insured, with a certificate of insurance ready for churches and schools.

Check your date on the Dash N’ Splash page, or keep reading, because in Kentwood the setup spot matters.

Where to set up in Kentwood

Kentwood already has two free splash pads, at Veterans Memorial Park on 48th Street and Pinewood Park on Wolfboro Drive, open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day. They are great for a random weekday. What you cannot do is bring an inflatable slide along: the City’s park shelter rental rules say bounce houses are not allowed at its reservable shelters, and electricity at shelters is not guaranteed. We treat an inflatable slide the same way, so we do not deliver Dash N’ Splash to Kentwood city park shelters. Parks & Rec is (616) 656-5270 if you want to ask them directly.

Where a water slide works well in Kentwood:

  • Your backyard. The unit is 25′ × 22′ and 17′ tall, so you need that footprint plus about 5 feet of clearance on every side and 20 feet overhead, on level grass (stakes) or concrete or asphalt (sandbags). Both a standard outlet and a hose spigot must be within 50 feet. No gravel, sand, or rock.
  • Church lawns with an outside spigot. Kentwood Christian Church on Kalamazoo Avenue, East Paris Christian Reformed on East Paris Avenue, and Compass Point Church on Eastern Avenue are three Kentwood addresses to start with. Ask the facilities person where the hose bib is, and we will send the office a certificate of insurance.
  • School fields. Kentwood Public Schools requires a current certificate of insurance on file for any group using district grounds, and requests go through its online reservation system. We handle the COI. Run dry, Dash N’ Splash is a full obstacle course for a field day.

The city itself sets the precedent: its Kickoff to Summer Kids Zone every June puts an obstacle course and foam parties on the City Hall lawn on Breton Avenue. Inflatables are welcome in Kentwood; the shelter rule is about reservations.

What we bring

Dash N’ Splash is a 25′ × 22′ × 17′ water slide and obstacle course combo: kids climb through pop-up obstacles and tunnels, scale the climbing wall, and slide down into a splash pool. The pool is included. It runs wet on hot days or dry on cool ones, and the dry setting turns it into a full obstacle course for spring and fall parties.

Rules that keep it safe: one person on the slide at a time, and a responsible adult watching the whole time. It needs one blower on one standard circuit, plus a hose spigot, both within 50 feet. We bring the hose, the extension cord, the blower, and the stakes or sandbags.

Price is $349 per day with delivery, setup, and takedown included. Add the Extra Large Bounce House for the little ones, a foam party for the big ones, or a cotton candy machine from $110.

How it works

1. Book your date. Choose your date on the rentals page. Summer weekends fill 2 to 4 weeks out, so do not wait on this one.

2. Kevin sets up. He stakes or sandbags the unit, connects your hose and outlet, fills the splash pool, and goes over the rules with you and the kids.

3. You run the party. We tear down, drain, and sanitize before the next family.

Weather: inflatables come down if winds exceed 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if the day looks unsafe. A cool but dry day is not a cancellation; that is what dry mode is for.

Water slide FAQs — Kentwood edition

What does a water slide rental in Kentwood cost?

Dash N’ Splash is $349 for a one-day rental, wet or dry, with the splash pool, hose, cord, blower, and delivery, setup, and takedown in Kentwood all included. There are no surprise fees.

Do you charge extra to deliver to Kentwood?

No. Kentwood is 11 miles from our base in Caledonia, about 16 minutes by 52nd Street, and every address in the city is inside our included delivery area. It is the same price in Princeton Estates as in Kelloggsville.

Can we set the water slide up at Pinewood Park next to the splash pad?

No. The City of Kentwood’s shelter rules say bounce houses are not allowed, we treat inflatable slides the same way, and electricity at the Pinewood shelter is not guaranteed. Enjoy the splash pad on a weekday and put the slide in your backyard for the party. Parks & Rec at (616) 656-5270 can confirm.

What do I need for water and power?

A standard outdoor outlet and a hose spigot, both within 50 feet of the setup spot. We bring the hose and a heavy-duty extension cord. If you want it dry, skip the spigot; if you have no outlet, ask us about generator options.

Can you give our school or church a certificate of insurance?

Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and Kentwood Public Schools requires a current certificate of insurance on file before any group uses district facilities. Send us the school or church name and the event date and we will get the COI to the right person.

How early should I reserve a summer weekend?

Two to four weeks ahead from May through September, and earlier if you can, because weekends go first. Early-June East Kentwood grad weekends and holiday weekends are the first to fill.
