Water Slide Rental in Ada, MI — Dash N’ Splash, Delivered and Set Up

Water slide rental in Ada, MI: the Dash N' Splash inflatable water slide and obstacle course combo from Bigfoot Bounce Houses

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan is a one-man, family-owned inflatable rental company in Caledonia, about 20 minutes south of Ada on the other side of Cascade. Kevin, the owner, is a nurse and a dad, and he delivers, sets up, and tears down every water slide rental in Ada himself.

Ada has the rivers, the Thornapple and the Grand meeting downtown at Legacy Park, and the big wooded lots off Buttrick and Honey Creek that a 17-foot slide needs. Dash N’ Splash is a 25-foot water slide with an obstacle course in front of it, $349 for the day, delivery and takedown included. We are fully insured, and every unit gets a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing between events.

Check your date and reserve Dash N’ Splash online, or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.

Where to set up in Ada

A water slide needs one thing a bounce house doesn’t: a hose spigot within 50 feet, on top of the outlet. In a backyard, plan on a level 35′ × 32′ patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete (the 25′ × 22′ unit plus 5 feet of clearance all around), 20 feet overhead with no branches or wires, and a standard outlet and a spigot within 50 feet. We bring the hose and the cord. Grass gets stakes, a driveway gets sandbags, and gravel is out.

For a park, Ada Township rents three spots at Ada Park (1180 Buttrick Ave SE), April 1 through October 31, in four-hour blocks:

  • Shelter Pavilion: up to 75 guests, with restrooms, a large charcoal grill, water, and an electric hook-up. $100 for a four-hour block for Ada taxpayers ($25 each extra hour) or $125 for the general public ($30 each extra hour). This is the one to book for a water slide, and “water” on the township’s list means a fountain or restroom supply, so ask the Parks office whether there is a hose spigot near the pavilion. If not, the slide runs dry.
  • Triple Gazebo: 40 people or fewer, small grill, and an electric hook-up but no listed water. $75 per block for taxpayers, $100 for the public. Dry mode.
  • Small Gazebo: up to 15 guests, no water or power. $35 / $50. Fine for cake; the slide would need a generator and would run dry.

Reservations open 365 days out through the township’s online booking system. The park rules require permitting for large-scale events but say nothing specific about inflatables, so call the Parks office at (616) 920-7855 before you book and ask that a water slide be noted on your reservation. Book a block long enough for setup and takedown. Church lawns and Forest Hills school grounds work too, as long as there is an outdoor spigot, and we send a certificate of insurance to the office.

What we bring

Dash N’ Splash is 25′ long, 22′ wide, and 17′ high. Riders climb the wall, push through pop-up obstacles and tunnels, and finish down the slide into a splash pool. The pool is included, not an add-on. One rider on the slide at a time; Kevin covers that and the rest of the rules before the first climb.

$349 per day, with delivery to Ada, setup, stakes or sandbags, blower, hose, cord, takedown, and sanitizing included. It runs on one blower on one standard circuit. You provide the outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet.

It runs wet or dry. Wet for a July birthday on a Honey Creek cul-de-sac or an August lake-day at the house; dry for a cool late-May party, a Forest Hills Eastern grad open house full of teenagers who’d rather not be soaked, or a fall gathering, when it becomes a straight obstacle course with a slide finish at the same price, no soggy kids.

Pair it with the Extra Large Bounce House for the little kids, or add a foam party or a cotton candy machine (from $110).

How it works

1. Book your date. Pick your date on the rentals page, or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.

2. Kevin delivers and sets up. He stakes or sandbags the unit, connects the hose and blower, fills the splash pool, and walks you through the safety rules: one rider on the slide at a time and a responsible adult supervising throughout.

3. You enjoy the party. Afterward we drain, tear down, haul away, and run the three-step sanitizing (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection).

Weather: the slide has to come down if winds exceed 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if conditions look unsafe. Booking: 2 to 4 weeks ahead in peak season (May through September), and summer Saturdays go first.

Water slide FAQs — Ada edition

How much does a water slide rental in Ada cost?

Dash N’ Splash is $349 per day, all-in: delivery to Ada, setup, hose and cord, blower, splash pool, takedown, and sanitizing. No delivery fee for an Ada Township address, no surprise line items.

Is delivery to Ada included?

Yes. Ada is about 20 minutes from our Caledonia base, well inside our included delivery area, from the village by the covered bridge out to the Grand River side of the township. If the setup spot is a long carry from where Kevin can park, mention it when you book.

Can I set the water slide up at Ada Park?

Likely, at the Shelter Pavilion, with a reservation and a call to the Parks office at (616) 920-7855. The pavilion lists water and an electric hook-up, but ask specifically about a hose spigot; if there isn’t one within 50 feet, the slide runs dry. The gazebos have no listed water, so plan on dry mode there.

What water and power do I need for the slide?

A standard outlet and an outdoor hose spigot, both within 50 feet of the setup spot. We bring the hose and the extension cord, and the blower runs on a single standard circuit. If your site has water but no power, ask us about generator options.

Are you insured, and can you send a certificate to my school or church?

Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured and provides a certificate of insurance on request for Forest Hills Public Schools, a church office, Ada Township Parks, or any venue that asks. Just tell us the name to list.

How far ahead should I book a water slide in Ada?

Two to four weeks during peak season, May through September, and earlier for a summer Saturday. If you have a specific date, lock it in as soon as you know.
