Bounce House Rental in Byron Center, MI — Delivered, Set Up, and Sanitized

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan is a one-man, family-owned rental company based in Caledonia, about 15 minutes from Byron Center by way of 92nd Street. Kevin, the owner, delivers, sets up, and tears down every bounce house himself.
Your $275 rental includes delivery, setup, stakes or sandbags, the cord, and a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing after your party. No delivery fee for Byron Center, no surprise line items. We’re fully insured and a 2026 GRKids Family Choice Awards Top 10 Birthday Party Place. Reserve online, or keep reading for where to set it up.
Where to set up in Byron Center
Most Byron Center bounce house rentals go in backyards. Here’s what the yard needs:
- A flat patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete about 30 by 22 feet (the unit plus 5 feet of clearance on every side). No gravel, sand, or rock landscaping.
- 20 feet of overhead clearance, so no low branches or wires.
- One standard outlet within 50 feet. We bring the cord.
Byron Township parks are a solid second option because the pavilions have power:
- Whistlestop Park (2120 76th St SW): pavilion seats about 100, rentable April through October for $75 per time block for township residents or $100 for non-residents. The township’s rental form says electrical service is available, and you can reserve up to a year ahead.
- Bicentennial Park (8085 Byron Center Ave, next to Township Hall): two pavilions that seat about 75 each, same pricing, same electrical service.
- Cutler Park: the picnic shelter isn’t on the township’s rental list, so plan on Whistlestop or Bicentennial for a reserved spot.
The township’s form doesn’t mention inflatables either way, so call Byron Township Recreation at (616) 878-1998 to confirm before you book. At Douglas Walker Park (1195 84th St, Kent County), picnic areas are $60 a day but only area A3 has electricity, and county rules require Park Manager permission for “spacewalks” two weeks ahead plus a $25 amusement fee (616-632-PARK).
What we bring
The Extra Large Bounce House is 20 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 16 feet 4 inches tall, with more than 300 square feet of bounce area, mesh windows all the way around, and fire-resistant vinyl. It rents for $275 per day. One blower runs on one standard 110V circuit; blower, cord, and stakes come with it. You supply the outlet within 50 feet and a responsible adult to watch the door. Five to six kids of similar size can bounce at once. Overnight or multi-day rentals are possible for a fee.
How it works
1. Reserve online. Pick your date on the rentals page. In peak season, May through September, book 2 to 4 weeks ahead; Saturdays go first.
2. Kevin delivers and sets up. He stakes or sandbags the unit, plugs in the blower, and walks you through the safety rules before he leaves.
3. You enjoy, we tear down. After the party Kevin packs it up and runs the three-step sanitizing (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection) before it goes to the next family.
Weather: inflatables have to come down if winds top 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast, and if it looks unsafe he’ll cancel ahead of time with a full refund. Bigfoot might be famous for disappearing into the woods, but we pride ourselves on showing up.
Bounce house FAQs — Byron Center edition
How much does a bounce house rental in Byron Center cost?
$275 for a one-day rental, including delivery, setup, takedown, and sanitizing, with no delivery fee for Byron Center. Add a cotton candy machine from $110 if you want a snack station.
Is delivery to Byron Center included?
Yes. Caledonia to Byron Center is about 12 miles and 15 minutes, well inside our delivery area, so there’s nothing extra to pay.
Can I set up a bounce house at Whistlestop Park?
Probably, but confirm first. The pavilion has power and the rental form doesn’t prohibit inflatables, but it doesn’t mention them either. Call Byron Township Recreation at (616) 878-1998, say you’d like a bounce house staked in the grass near the pavilion, and get a yes before you pay the pavilion fee.
What power do I need?
One standard 110V outlet within 50 feet of the bounce house; we bring the cord. At a pavilion, ask for a spot close to the building’s outlet. No power at all? Ask us about generator options.
Are you insured? Can you give a certificate of insurance to my school or church?
Yes and yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and Kevin can send a certificate of insurance naming your school, church, or venue — handy for a PTO event at Brown, Countryside, Heritage, or Marshall, or a church family night.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September, and earlier for a Saturday. Planning around Byron Days in July or a June grad party? Book as soon as you have the date.
