Bounce House Rental in Wyoming, MI — Delivered, Staked, and Sanitized

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan is a one-man, family-owned rental company in Caledonia, about 20 minutes from Wyoming across the south side of Grand Rapids. Kevin, the owner, delivers, sets up, and tears down every bounce house himself.
Your $275 rental includes delivery, setup, stakes or sandbags, the cord, and a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing after your party. No delivery fee for a Wyoming address, no surprise line items. We’re fully insured and a 2026 GRKids Family Choice Awards Top 10 Birthday Party Place. Reserve online, but read the park section first. Wyoming has a rule most parents don’t know about.
Where to set up in Wyoming
Backyards are the easy option: a flat patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete about 30 by 22 feet (the unit plus 5 feet of clearance on every side), 20 feet of overhead clearance, and a standard outlet within 50 feet. No gravel, sand, or rock.
City parks take paperwork. Wyoming Parks & Recreation rents shelters May 1 through September 30 for $60 to $80 a half day or $120 to $160 a full day for residents ($90 to $240 for non-residents), plus a $75 damage deposit, and there are no refunds. The rules say a reservation that uses “special equipment not provided by the Parks and Recreation Department (including inflatable games, carnival-type games, petting zoo, etc.)” needs a special event agreement. So a bounce house at a Wyoming shelter is possible, but only with that agreement in hand. Call (616) 530-3164, Monday through Thursday, before you book. The shelters that make sense:
- Lamar Park (2561 Porter Ave SW): 75-seat shelter with electricity and a grill near the restrooms; picnic sections A and B also have power.
- Ideal Park (5843 Crippen Ave SW): East Shelter seats 75 by the playground, West Shelter seats 100 with attached restrooms, both with electricity.
- Pinery Park (2301 DeHoop Ave SW): 50-seat shelter with electricity and a grill. The lodge is indoor, and indoor rentals don’t allow inflatables.
- Gezon Park (5651 Gezon Ct SW): 75-seat South Shelter with electricity.
- Jackson Park (3235 Robin Ave SW): tents, canopies, and bounce houses are not permitted here, so skip it.
Church lawns and school fields are simpler. Ask the office where the nearest outlet is and we’ll send a certificate of insurance. Inflatables are nothing new in Wyoming: the Metro Cruise pit stops in August have run a giant inflatable and a foam pit for the kids.
What we bring
The Extra Large Bounce House is 20 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 16 feet 4 inches tall, with more than 300 square feet of bounce area, mesh windows all the way around, and fire-resistant vinyl. It rents for $275 per day. One blower runs on one standard 110V circuit; blower, cord, and stakes come with it, plus sandbags for driveways. You supply the outlet within 50 feet and a grown-up to supervise. Five to six kids of similar size can bounce at once.
How it works
1. Book your date. Reserve on the rentals page. From May through September, book 2 to 4 weeks ahead; Saturdays fill first.
2. Kevin sets it up. He stakes it on grass or sandbags it on pavement, checks the blower, and goes over the safety rules with you.
3. Bounce, then we pack up. Kevin tears it down and runs the full sanitizing cycle (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection) before it goes to the next family.
Weather: inflatables come down if winds top 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if it looks unsafe. Bigfoot might be famous for disappearing into the woods, but we pride ourselves on showing up.
Bounce house FAQs — Wyoming edition
How much does a bounce house rental in Wyoming cost?
$275 for a one-day rental, including delivery, setup, takedown, and sanitizing. There’s no delivery fee for Wyoming. Add a cotton candy machine from $110 if you want a treat table.
Is delivery to Wyoming included?
Yes. Wyoming is about 20 minutes from our base in Caledonia, and every Wyoming address, from the 28th Street side to Gezon and Byron Center Avenue, gets the same $275 price.
Can I set up a bounce house at Lamar Park?
Only with a special event agreement from Wyoming Parks & Recreation. Reserve the shelter, tell them you’re bringing an inflatable, and ask for the agreement at the same time; call (616) 530-3164. The shelter has electricity, so power isn’t the problem, the paperwork is. Jackson Park is a flat no.
What power do I need?
One standard 110V outlet within 50 feet of the bounce house; we bring the cord. The Lamar, Ideal, Pinery, and Gezon shelters have electricity. Oriole Park’s shelter and the picnic sections at Pinery and Ideal don’t, so ask us about generator options there.
Are you insured? Can you send a certificate of insurance to my school or church?
Yes on both. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and we’ll send a certificate naming your church, venue, or parent group, whether that’s Gladiola, Oriole Park, Parkview, or West Elementary in Wyoming Public Schools, or a Godfrey-Lee, Godwin Heights, or Kelloggsville family night.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September, and a bit more if you need the city’s special event agreement, since shelter reservations close the Thursday of the week before. Grad-party weekends and Metro Cruise weekend in August go fast.
