Bounce House Rental in Grandville, MI — Delivered, Staked, and Sanitized

Extra Large Bounce House rental from Bigfoot Bounce Houses, set up in a backyard in Grandville, MI

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan is a one-man, family-owned rental company in Caledonia, about 25 minutes from Grandville across the south side of Grand Rapids. Kevin, the owner, delivers, sets up, and tears down every bounce house himself.

Your $275 rental includes delivery, setup, stakes or sandbags, the cord, and a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing after your party. No delivery fee for a Grandville address, no surprise line items. We’re fully insured and a 2026 GRKids Family Choice Awards Top 10 Birthday Party Place. Reserve online, or keep reading for where to set it up.

Where to set up in Grandville

Backyards are the easy option: a flat patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete about 30 by 22 feet (the unit plus 5 feet of clearance on every side), 20 feet of overhead clearance, and a standard outlet within 50 feet. No gravel, sand, or rock. For a park:

  • Wedgwood Park (3391 Wilson Ave SW) is the city’s full-service park: a pavilion, restrooms, a playground, picnic tables and grills, lighted ball fields, and paved parking on 14 acres. Heritage Park (4264 Canal), Mill Race Park (3370 Carlton Park), and Calvin Crest Park (3796 Ivanrest) round out the city list. Shelter reservations go through the Department of Public Works at (616) 538-1990. The city doesn’t publish shelter fees, outlet details, or an inflatable rule online, and its park rules prohibit tents and alcohol, so ask DPW about a bounce house and an outlet when you call.
  • Farm Market Pavilion downtown (3195 Wilson Ave SW) rents through the Special Events Coordinator at (616) 724-1909 and sits inside the downtown social district, so it’s better suited to grown-up events than a kids’ party.
  • Kent County’s Johnson Park, just across the Grand River from Grandville, has an open shelter for 150 guests at $150 to $175 a day with water and electric. Kent County requires Park Manager permission for “spacewalks” at least two weeks ahead plus a $25 amusement fee. Reserve online or call 616-632-PARK.

Church lawns and school fields are the simplest of all. Ask the office where the nearest outlet is and we’ll send a certificate of insurance.

What we bring

The Extra Large Bounce House is 20 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 16 feet 4 inches tall, with more than 300 square feet of bounce area, mesh windows all the way around, and fire-resistant vinyl. It rents for $275 per day. One blower runs on one standard 110V circuit; blower, cord, and stakes come with it, plus sandbags for driveways. You supply the outlet within 50 feet and a grown-up to supervise. Five to six kids of similar size can bounce at once.

How it works

1. Book your date. Reserve on the rentals page. From May through September, book 2 to 4 weeks ahead; Saturdays fill first.

2. Kevin sets it up. He stakes it on grass or sandbags it on pavement, checks the blower, and goes over the safety rules with you.

3. Bounce, then we pack up. Kevin tears it down and runs the full sanitizing cycle (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection) before it goes to the next family.

Weather: inflatables come down if winds top 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if it looks unsafe. Bigfoot might be famous for disappearing into the woods, but we pride ourselves on showing up.

Bounce house FAQs — Grandville edition

How much does a bounce house rental in Grandville cost?

$275 for a one-day rental, including delivery, setup, takedown, and sanitizing. There’s no delivery fee for Grandville. Add a cotton candy machine from $110 if you want a treat table.

Is delivery to Grandville included?

Yes. Grandville is about 25 minutes from our base in Caledonia, and every Grandville address, from the Wilson Avenue side to Ivanrest and Canal, gets the same $275 price.

Can I set up a bounce house at Wedgwood Park?

Ask first. The city’s published park rules don’t mention inflatables one way or the other, so call Public Works at (616) 538-1990, say you’d like a bounce house staked in the grass near the pavilion, and ask whether there’s a usable outlet. If you’d rather have a written yes, Johnson Park’s county rules spell out exactly how to get one.

What power do I need?

One standard 110V outlet within 50 feet of the bounce house; we bring the cord. Johnson Park’s open shelter has electric. For a Grandville city shelter, ask DPW about an outlet, and if there isn’t one, ask us about generator options.

Are you insured? Can you send a certificate of insurance to my school or church?

Yes on both. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and we’ll send a certificate naming your church, venue, or parent group, whether that’s a family night at Central, Cummings, East, Grand View, South, or West Elementary, or an Oakestown Intermediate event.

How far ahead should I book?

Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September. Grad-party weekends and June and July Saturdays go fast, so book as soon as you have the date, and book the shelter at the same time.
