Foam Parties in Cascade Township
What Is a Foam Party?
A foam party is an outdoor event where a foam cannon fills your yard, driveway, or field with mountains of safe, bubbly foam that kids (and adults) can dance, play, and dive in. Bigfoot runs them two ways: a self-managed Basic Foam Party, where Kevin drops off the cannon, shows you how it works, and you run the foam whenever you want all day, or an operator-run Glow Foam Party, where a trained Bigfoot operator runs the whole show under lights after dark.
Cascade already fills parking lots with families: the township runs Bounce Back to School at Friendship Park every August with an inflatable play area, and its July 4 festival puts inflatables and rides in the Noto’s parking lot. A backyard foam party is the same idea in your own yard, and Kevin, a nurse and a dad, handles every delivery himself.

Local Know-How
Where to Set Up in Cascade Township
Township parks first, so nobody plans around them. The Park Reservations & Fees page for the Cascade Township Park pavilion and gazebo and the Tassell Park Wisner Pavilion says “No stakes or tents, bounce houses, or food trucks,” caps events at four hours, and lists no electricity. The Parks Ordinance also requires a township permit for any organized party. Nothing there opens the door to a foam cannon, so we do not set up at township park structures; Parks & Facilities is (616) 949-1500 if you want to ask. Where a foam party rental in Cascade Township does work:
- Backyards and driveways. A 20′ × 20′ patch of grass or pavement, an outlet and a spigot within 50 feet, and kids in swimsuits. We bring the extension cord and the connections; you supply the hose. For glow foam, wait for dusk; parks close then anyway, so glow stays in the backyard.
- Church campuses. Cascade Fellowship CRC and Thornapple Covenant, the Cascade Road neighbors that stage the township’s July 4 bike parade and community parade, plus Cascade Christian on Thornapple River Drive and Ada Bible’s Cascade campus. A church lawn with an outdoor spigot is an easy yes, and we send the certificate of insurance.
- Forest Hills school events. Thornapple Elementary’s PTO runs ten-plus family engagement events a year, and Collins and Meadow Brook have PTOs too. We provide a certificate of insurance to the district office before the date.
- Kent County parks. Amusements need special permission from the Park Manager, requested two weeks ahead, at $25 per amusement. The nearest county shelter with water and electric is at Caledonia Lakeside Park; call (616) 632-7275 and ask whether a foam cannon counts.
No Surprises
What’s Included in Your Cascade Township Foam Party
- The foam cannon and foam solution — everything needed to bury the backyard in bubbles
- Delivery, setup, and takedown — Kevin handles the heavy lifting, then packs it all out
- Hands-on walkthrough — for Basic foam, he shows you exactly how to run the cannon safely before he goes
- A trained operator — for Glow foam, a Bigfoot pro runs the entire show, lights and all
- Hospital-grade sanitized equipment — every rental, every time
- Full insurance — with a certificate of insurance for schools, churches, and venues on request
You provide three things: the space (backyard, driveway, or field), a standard outlet, and a hose spigot within 50 feet. We bring the extension cord and the connections; you supply the hose. Weather: Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if conditions look unsafe.

Everything Parents Ask
Foam Party FAQs — Cascade Township Edition
What does a foam party rental in Cascade Township cost?
A Basic Foam Party is $275 for the day and a Glow Foam Party starts at $400, with delivery, setup, and takedown in Cascade included. Extra hours of foam solution on the Basic package are $75 each. No surprise fees.
Is Cascade Township inside your delivery area?
Yes. Cascade borders Caledonia directly, so every address, from the Forest Hills half of the township to the 28th Street and Cascade Road corner, is inside our included delivery area.
Could we do a foam party at Cascade Township Park or Friendship Park?
Not at the township’s rentable structures: the rules bar bounce houses, cap events at four hours, and list no electricity, and the cannon needs an outlet and a hose. Friendship Park is not on the reservation page at all; the township uses it for its own events. Call Parks & Facilities at (616) 949-1500 if you want to ask, but a backyard, church lawn, or school field is the realistic plan.
What hookups does the foam cannon need?
One standard outlet and one hose spigot, each within 50 feet of the cannon. We bring the extension cord and the connections; you supply the hose. No water truck, no special drain. If your site has no outlet, ask us about generator options.
Are you insured, and can a Forest Hills school or a Cascade church get a certificate?
Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and we send a certificate of insurance to the Forest Hills district office, the church office, or any venue that wants one on file. Send the event date and a contact name and it goes out ahead of time.
How far in advance do foam parties in Cascade Township book up?
Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September, and three to four weeks for glow. Glow foam around Forest Hills grad season in June fills first, so reserve as soon as the date is set.
Ready to Make Your Cascade Township Party Legendary?
Bigfoot Bounce Houses is a one-man shop, so Kevin sees every message. Book your foam party and he handles delivery, setup, safety, and squeaky-clean fun so you can enjoy the day.
