Foam Parties in Lowell

What Is a Foam Party?

A foam party is an outdoor event where a foam cannon fills your yard, driveway, or field with mountains of safe, bubbly foam that kids (and adults) can dance, play, and dive in. Bigfoot runs them two ways: a self-managed Basic Foam Party, where Kevin drops off the cannon, shows you how it works, and you run the foam whenever you want all day, or an operator-run Glow Foam Party, where a trained Bigfoot operator runs the whole show under lights after dark.

Kevin, a nurse and a dad, owns and runs the company himself and handles every Lowell delivery. Nobody has ever gotten a clear photo of Bigfoot, and once the foam is waist-deep nobody will get one of your kids either. Text (616) 232-6077 with your date and a rough head count and Kevin will tell you which package fits.

Local Know-How

Where to Set Up in Lowell

Foam needs less room than an inflatable but the same two utilities: a standard outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet. A 20′ Γ— 20′ patch of lawn or driveway is plenty. Here is how that shakes out around Lowell.

  • Your backyard or driveway. Where most foam parties happen, and the only realistic spot for Glow Foam, since every park below closes at dusk. Grass is ideal and the foam is safe on it; driveways work too. Keep the cannon on grass, asphalt, or concrete, never gravel or sand.
  • Fallasburg Park (Kent County, 1124 Fallasburg Park Drive NE). The open shelter ($150 a day, 144 guests) has electric service and running water, which is exactly what a foam cannon needs. Kent County requires special permission for amusements at least two weeks ahead through the Park Manager, plus $25 per amusement, so ask and get the yes in writing. Park hours run 7 a.m. to sunset from May through October. Call (616) 632-7275.
  • Lowell Charter Township parks. North Riverfront on Fulton Street and South Riverfront on Grand River Drive have first-come picnic shelters that are not reserved. Amusements need Township permission two weeks ahead and a $25 fee each; call (616) 897-7600. Electricity and water at the shelters are not published, so ask, and ask us about generator options.
  • Creekside Park (1550 Gee Drive). The large pavilion can be reserved through City Hall at (616) 897-8457. The City does not publish the fee, the power situation, or whether foam is allowed, so call City Hall first.
  • Church and school lawns. Impact Church on Fulton Street, Lowell First United Methodist on East Main, or a Lowell Area Schools field. We will send the certificate of insurance.

No Surprises

What’s Included in Your Lowell Foam Party

  • The foam cannon and foam solution β€” everything needed to bury the backyard in bubbles
  • Delivery, setup, and takedown β€” Kevin handles the heavy lifting, then packs it all out
  • Hands-on walkthrough β€” for Basic foam, he shows you exactly how to run the cannon safely before he goes
  • A trained operator β€” for Glow foam, a Bigfoot pro runs the entire show, lights and all
  • Hospital-grade sanitized equipment β€” every rental, every time
  • Full insurance β€” with a certificate of insurance for schools, churches, and venues on request

You provide three things: the space (backyard, driveway, or field), a standard outlet, and a hose spigot within 50 feet. We bring the extension cord and the connections; you supply the hose. Weather: Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if conditions look unsafe.

Everything Parents Ask

Foam Party FAQs β€” Lowell Edition

How much does a foam party rental in Lowell cost?

The Basic Foam Party is $275 for the day and the Glow Foam Party starts at $400, both with delivery, setup, and takedown in Lowell included. Extra hours of foam solution on the Basic package are $75 each. Pricing is transparent, and the number Kevin quotes is the number you pay.

Is delivery to Lowell included?

Yes. Lowell is about 22 minutes from Caledonia, so it sits inside our included delivery area, Murray Lake and Fallasburg included. No mileage fee.

Can I have a foam party at Creekside Park?

Maybe, and only the City can say. The large pavilion at Creekside is reservable through City Hall at (616) 897-8457, but the City’s page does not list the rental fee, whether there is power or a spigot at the pavilion, or any rule on foam or inflatables. Call City Hall, ask those three questions, and if the answer is yes we will bring the certificate of insurance. The township and county parks do have published rules: special permission two weeks ahead and $25 per amusement.

What power and water do I need?

One standard outlet and one hose spigot within 50 feet of the cannon. We bring the extension cord and the connections; you supply the hose. If your spot has water but no power, ask us about generator options. The foam solution is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and safe on grass, so your lawn is fine.

Are you insured? Can a school or church get a certificate of insurance?

Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and we send certificates of insurance to PTOs, Lowell Area Schools, churches, and park offices on request. Send the venue name and the date and it will be in their inbox before the event.

How far ahead should I book a foam party in Lowell?

Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September, and three to four weeks for glow. June grad-party weekends are the tightest dates for Glow Foam, so lock yours in as soon as the graduation date is set.

Ready to Make Your Lowell Party Legendary?

Bigfoot Bounce Houses is a one-man shop, so Kevin sees every message. Book your foam party and he handles delivery, setup, safety, and squeaky-clean fun so you can enjoy the day.
