Foam Parties in Caledonia
What Is a Foam Party?
A foam party is an outdoor event where a foam cannon fills your yard, driveway, or field with mountains of safe, bubbly foam that kids (and adults) can dance, play, and dive in. Bigfoot runs them two ways: a self-managed Basic Foam Party, where Kevin drops off the cannon, shows you how it works, and you run the foam whenever you want all day, or an operator-run Glow Foam Party, where a trained Bigfoot operator runs the whole show under lights after dark.
Bigfoot Bounce Houses is a Caledonia company. Kevin, a nurse and a dad, lives here, the equipment lives here, and a foam party rental in Caledonia is the shortest delivery we make. Most towns get one blurry Bigfoot photo a decade; Caledonia gets a clear one, in a blue Hawaiian shirt, most summer weekends.

Local Know-How
Where to Set Up in Caledonia
The cannon needs a standard outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet and a patch of grass or driveway around 20′ Γ 20′. That covers most backyards in Glen Valley Estates, Kraft Farms, and Thornapple Farms and most lake lots on Campau, Emmons, and Kettle. Glow foam wants dusk, and a backyard is the easiest place to run it late. Public options, with the real rules:
- Caledonia Community Green (9309 Dobber Wenger, in front of the township library) rents its pavilion, or pavilion plus amphitheater, through the township. Residents pay $75 for a half day or $100 for a full day for the pavilion, plus a refundable $200 deposit, and everything is cleaned up by 10 p.m. The policy is silent on foam and inflatables and does not say whether the pavilion has power or a spigot, so call 616-891-0070 or email parks@caledoniatownship.org and ask all three before you book.
- Caledonia Lakeside Park (370 N Lake Street SE, on Emmons Lake) is Kent County, with a written rule we can work with: amusements are allowed with special permission from the Park Manager, requested at least two weeks ahead, at $25 per amusement. The open shelter holds 125 with water and electric, $150 to $175 per day. Reserve online or at (616) 632-7275; the park is open May 1 through October 31.
- Fred W. Ruehs Park (7600 68th Street, on the Thornapple in Alaska) is also Kent County, same amusement rule, with a reservable shelter. Its fee and outlets are not on the countyβs price pages, so ask when you call.
- Church lawns and school fields. St. Paul Lutheran on Kraft Avenue runs VBS every summer, and every Caledonia elementary has a PTO. We send a certificate of insurance ahead of time.
No Surprises

Everything Parents Ask
Foam Party FAQs β Caledonia Edition
What does a foam party rental in Caledonia cost?
A Basic Foam Party is $275 for the day and a Glow Foam Party starts at $400; extra hours of foam solution on the Basic package are $75 each. Delivery, setup, and takedown are included, with no surprise fees.
Is delivery to Caledonia included?
Yes, and it is the easiest delivery on our calendar. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is based in Caledonia, 49316, so every address in the village and township, from Kraft Farms to Avalon Pointe to the Coldwater River corner, is inside the included area.
Can we run a foam party at Caledonia Lakeside Park or Community Green?
Lakeside Park, yes: Kent County grants special permission through the Park Manager, requested at least two weeks ahead, at $25 per amusement, and the open shelter has water and electric. Community Green is a maybe: the township policy does not address foam, power, or water, and the park closes at 10 p.m. even with a reservation, which matters for glow foam. Call 616-891-0070 first.
What power and water does the cannon need?
One standard outlet and one hose spigot, each within 50 feet of the cannon. We bring the extension cord and the connections; you supply the hose. If your site has no outlet, ask us about generator options.
Are you insured, and can a Caledonia school or church get a certificate?
Yes. We are fully insured, and we send a certificate of insurance to Caledonia Community Schools, St. Paul Lutheran, Caledonia Christian Reformed, or any venue that asks. Send the event date and office contact and it goes out ahead of time.
How far ahead should I book a foam party in Caledonia?
Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September, and three to four weeks for glow. Weekends go first, and glow foam in grad season goes fastest. If your date is close, text us anyway.
Ready to Make Your Caledonia Party Legendary?
Bigfoot Bounce Houses is a one-man shop, so Kevin sees every message. Book your foam party and he handles delivery, setup, safety, and squeaky-clean fun so you can enjoy the day.
