Water Slide Rental in Middleville, MI — Dash N’ Splash, Wet or Dry, Splash Pool Included

Water slide rental in Middleville, MI: the Dash N' Splash inflatable water slide and obstacle course combo from Bigfoot Bounce Houses

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan is a family-owned rental run by Kevin, a nurse and a dad, from Caledonia. Middleville is 7 miles down M-37, roughly 9 minutes, so you are practically next door, and delivery, setup, and takedown are part of the price.

A water slide rental in Middleville is $349 a day for the Dash N’ Splash Water Slide and Obstacle Course Combo, splash pool included. We carry full insurance, and the unit gets a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing after every event, which matters on a wet slide.

Benny, our Bigfoot in the blue Hawaiian shirt, takes a full afternoon to dry, so he leaves the sliding to the kids. Reserve Dash N’ Splash online or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.

Where to set up in Middleville

For a water slide the backyard wins, because of the hose. You need a 25′ × 22′ footprint on grass, asphalt, or concrete, 20 feet of overhead clearance for a 17-foot unit, about 5 feet of open space around it, and a standard outlet and hose spigot within 50 feet. We bring the hose and cord. No gravel, sand, or rock. That covers most of the village, the Thornapple River lots, and the lake places out toward Gun Lake and Yankee Springs.

Village parks can work in dry mode. The village rents its facilities on one application; fees cover up to six hours and double for longer, every booking carries a $100 security deposit, and parks close at dusk. The application never mentions inflatables or water spigots and lists power at only one shelter, so call the Village Office at (269) 795-3385 before you plan on it.

  • Spring Park Picnic Shelter — $50 resident / $100 non-resident. Outlet in the shelter (ask the office to confirm it is a standard 110V circuit), restrooms, about 12 tables, key pickup at Village Hall.
  • Stagecoach Park Gazebo — $75 / $150, downtown beside Village Hall. No outlet listed, so a generator would be needed. Heritage Days sets up a bounce house here every August, so inflatables aren’t a foreign idea downtown.
  • Calvin Hill Park Shelter — $25 / $50, no restrooms, no outlet listed.

Schools and nonprofits pay no village fee. Yankee Springs Recreation Area has shelters too, but it is a state park with its own rules, so ask that office. Township addresses: Thornapple Township (269) 795-7202, Yankee Springs Township (269) 795-9091.

What we bring

Dash N’ Splash is a 25′ × 22′ × 17′ obstacle course that ends in a slide and splash pool: climbing wall, pop-up obstacles, tunnels, then the slide, one rider at a time. One blower on one standard circuit runs it. We bring the blower, cord, hose, stakes, and sandbags for hard surfaces.

It runs wet or dry. A Memorial Day party in Michigan can be 55 degrees, so on cool days we run it dry as a straight obstacle course. Price: $349 per day with delivery, setup, and takedown included. You supply the outlet, the spigot, and a responsible adult to supervise; Kevin goes over the rules at setup.

Pair it with the Extra Large Bounce House for the little ones, or add a foam party and a cotton candy machine (from $110).

How it works

1. Book your date. Pick your date on the rentals page. Book 2 to 4 weeks ahead from May through September; weekends go first.

2. Kevin delivers and sets up. He stakes or sandbags the unit, connects the hose, checks the blower, and walks you through the safety rules, starting with one rider at a time.

3. You enjoy the day. We drain the pool, tear down, haul it away, and sanitize it before it goes back out.

Weather: the slide has to come down in rain or when winds pass 15 to 20 mph. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if conditions look unsafe. A cool but dry day is fine; that is what dry mode is for.

Water slide FAQs — Middleville edition

What does a water slide rental in Middleville cost?

$349 for a one-day rental, splash pool included, with delivery, setup, and takedown built in for Middleville. Nothing gets added at the door.

Do you deliver to Middleville and the Gun Lake side?

Yes. The village is about 9 minutes from our base in Caledonia, and Thornapple Township and Yankee Springs Township addresses get the same price. No travel add-on anywhere in 49333.

Can I set up the water slide at Stagecoach Park downtown?

Only in dry mode, and only after you ask. The gazebo rents for $75 (resident) or $150 (non-resident) plus the $100 deposit, but the listing shows no outlet and no spigot, so you would need a generator and would run the course dry. The village has no written inflatable rule; call (269) 795-3385 for an answer.

What power and water do I need?

One standard outlet and one outdoor hose spigot, both within 50 feet of the slide. We bring the extension cord and hose; the pool and slide run off your spigot. No plug? Ask us about generator options when you book.

Are you insured? Can a TK school or church get a certificate of insurance?

Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured and sends a certificate of insurance to Thornapple Kellogg Schools, Middleville United Methodist, YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin, or any venue that asks. Private village park renters are not asked for one on the application, but we carry it regardless.

How far ahead do I need to book a water slide?

Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September. Hot Saturdays in July and August go first, and dates near the Fourth or Heritage Days go faster still.
