Water Slide Rental in Wayland, MI — Dash N’ Splash, Wet or Dry

Water slide rental in Wayland, MI: the Dash N' Splash inflatable water slide and obstacle course combo from Bigfoot Bounce Houses

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan is a one-man, family-owned inflatable rental company in Caledonia, about 15 miles and 19 minutes from Wayland by 142nd Avenue. Kevin, the owner, drives every delivery himself and stays to set up, stake, fill the pool, and go over the rules.

Wayland kids already have Gun Lake, the Rabbit River, and the splash pad at City Park. A water slide rental in Wayland is for the birthday when you’d rather keep everyone in the backyard: Dash N’ Splash, a 25-foot water slide with an obstacle course in front of it, $349 for the day, delivery and takedown included. We’re fully insured, and every unit gets hospital-grade three-step sanitizing between events.

Check your date and reserve Dash N’ Splash online, or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.

Where to set up in Wayland

The difference between a slide and a bounce house is the spigot. You need a flat 35′ × 32′ patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete (the 25′ × 22′ unit plus 5 feet all around), 20 feet of overhead clearance with no branches or wires, and a standard outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet. We supply the hose and the cord. No gravel, sand, or rock.

  • Allegan County parks are the clearest-cut public option, because the county says exactly what it wants: a $25 special use permit plus a certificate of liability for any inflatable. You file the permit; we supply the certificate naming the county. Questions: 269-686-9088.
  • Gun Lake Park (2397 Patterson Rd.): a 75-person pavilion with electricity, $50 half day or $80 full day on ReserveAmerica, modern restrooms, a playground, and 450 feet of beach. No hose spigot is listed, so ask. If there isn’t one, the slide runs dry beside the beach and the kids swim anyway.
  • Bysterveld Park (4171 14th St.): a 110-person pavilion, $80 half day or $150 full day, but no electricity. Plan on a generator and ask us about generator options.
  • Book the full day (8 a.m. to 9 p.m.). Morning half-days end at 1:30, which isn’t enough for setup, a party, and takedown. Pavilion fees are non-refundable, and alcohol isn’t allowed.
  • Wayland City Park (two shelters, a gazebo, restrooms, the splash pad) is reserved through the City’s “Application to Use City Assets”: no fee, filed 30 days ahead, approved by City Council. It doesn’t mention inflatables, electricity, or hoses, so ask when you file. Public Works, which maintains the parks, is 269-792-0686. Yankee Springs (DNR, 269-795-9081) rents pavilions on Gun Lake with a Recreation Passport but publishes no inflatable policy; call first.

What we bring

Dash N’ Splash is a water slide and obstacle course combo: 25′ long, 22′ wide, and 17′ tall, with a climbing wall, pop-up obstacles, tunnels, and a slide that lands in a splash pool. The pool is included, not an add-on, and one blower on one standard circuit runs the whole thing.

$349 per day includes delivery to Wayland, setup, stakes or sandbags, blower, hose, extension cord, takedown, and sanitizing. One rider goes down the slide at a time, and an adult supervises for the whole rental; Kevin covers both rules at setup.

It runs wet or dry. For a cool day, a June grad party full of teenagers who’d rather not be soaked, or a September event, Kevin sets it up as a straight obstacle course with a slide finish, same price, no soggy kids.

Pair it with the Extra Large Bounce House for the younger siblings on the same trip, or add a foam party or a cotton candy machine (from $110).

How it works

1. Book your date. Pick your date on the rentals page, or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.

2. Kevin delivers and sets up. He stakes or sandbags the unit, connects the hose and blower, fills the splash pool, and walks you through the safety rules: one rider on the slide at a time and a responsible adult supervising throughout.

3. You enjoy the party. Afterward we drain, tear down, haul away, and run the three-step sanitizing (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection).

Weather: the slide has to come down if winds exceed 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if the day looks unsafe; the county’s pavilion fee is non-refundable, so watch the forecast with us. Booking: 2 to 4 weeks ahead in peak season (May through September), and summer Saturdays go first.

Water slide FAQs — Wayland edition

What does a water slide rental in Wayland cost?

$349 for the day, wet or dry, with delivery, setup, the splash pool, hose and cord, blower, takedown, and sanitizing included. No delivery surcharge for Wayland, Wayland Township, Dorr, Bradley, Moline, or Shelbyville.

Do you charge extra to deliver to Wayland?

No. Wayland is about 19 minutes from Caledonia, well inside our included delivery area, so there’s no separate delivery charge anywhere in the city or the township, Gun Lake addresses included.

Can I put Dash N’ Splash at Gun Lake Park?

Yes, with three things: a pavilion reservation on ReserveAmerica, Allegan County’s $25 special use permit for inflatables, and a certificate of liability, which we provide. The pavilion has electricity. Ask the county if there’s a hose spigot; if not, the slide runs dry and the beach handles the wet part.

What power and water do I need?

One standard outlet and one garden hose spigot, both within 50 feet of the setup spot. Hose and extension cord are ours, and the blower runs on a single standard circuit. Bysterveld’s pavilion has no power, so plan a generator there.

Are you insured? Can a school, church, or the county get a certificate?

Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and Kevin will email a certificate of insurance naming Wayland Union Schools, a church running VBS, Allegan County Parks for your special use permit, or anyone else who asks. Just tell us the name to list.

How far ahead should I book a water slide in Wayland?

Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September. Hot weekends in July and August go first, and county pavilions only book May 1 through September 30, so line up the permit and the slide together.
