Bigfoot runs them two ways: a self-managed Basic Foam Party, where Kevin drops off the cannon, shows you how it works, and you run the foam whenever you want all day, or an operator-run Glow Foam Party, where a trained Bigfoot operator runs the whole show under lights after dark.
Ada has the rivers, the Thornapple and the Grand meeting downtown at Legacy Park, and the big wooded lots off Buttrick and Honey Creek where a foam pile has room to grow. Kevin, a nurse and a dad, owns the company and handles every delivery himself, so the person who sets up your cannon is the person who answers your text.

Where to Set Up in Ada
A foam cannon needs a 20′ × 20′ patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete (never gravel), plus a standard outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet. That describes most Ada backyards. Parks close at dusk, so glow foam stays in the backyard; for a daytime foam party in a park, here is what Ada Township publishes:
- Ada Park Shelter Pavilion (1180 Buttrick Ave SE). The township rents it April 1 through October 31 in four-hour blocks: up to 75 guests, restrooms, a large charcoal grill, water, and an electric hook-up, for $100 per block for Ada taxpayers ($25 each extra hour) or $125 for the general public ($30 each extra hour). This is the one to book for foam, but “water” on the township’s list means a fountain or restroom supply, so ask the Parks office whether there is a hose spigot near the pavilion. Without one, the cannon cannot run.
- Ada Park Triple Gazebo and Small Gazebo. The Triple Gazebo (40 people or fewer, $75 taxpayer / $100 public) has an electric hook-up but no listed water; the Small Gazebo (up to 15, $35 / $50) has neither. Either would need a hose source and, for the small one, a generator.
- Ask before you book. Reservations open 365 days out through the township’s online booking system. The park rules require permitting for large-scale events but say nothing specific about foam or inflatables, so call the Parks office at (616) 920-7855, describe the foam cannon, and book a block long enough for setup and takedown.
- Church lawns and Forest Hills school grounds. Ada Bible’s campuses, Ada Elementary and Ada Vista PTO nights, and Eastern grad parties all work as long as there is an outdoor spigot and an outlet. We send a certificate of insurance to the office ahead of time.

How far in advance do foam parties in Ada book up?
