Foam is nothing new in Wyoming: the Metro Cruise pit stops in August have run a giant inflatable and a foam pit for the kids. A backyard foam party is the same thing without the crowd on 28th Street, and Kevin, a nurse and a dad, owns the company and handles every delivery himself.

Where to Set Up in Wyoming
A foam cannon needs a 20′ × 20′ patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete (never gravel), plus a standard outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet. City parks take paperwork: Wyoming Parks & Recreation rents shelters May 1 through September 30 for $60 to $80 a half day or $120 to $160 a full day for residents ($90 to $240 for non-residents), plus a $75 damage deposit, with no refunds. The reservation rules say any “special equipment not provided by the Parks and Recreation Department (including inflatable games, carnival-type games, petting zoo, etc.)” needs a special event agreement, so a foam cannon at a Wyoming shelter is possible only with that agreement in hand, and none of the shelter listings mention a hose spigot. Call (616) 530-3164, Monday through Thursday, and ask about water. Parks close at dusk, so glow foam stays in the backyard.
- Lamar Park (2561 Porter Ave SW): 75-seat shelter with electricity and a grill near the restrooms; picnic sections A and B also have power.
- Ideal Park (5843 Crippen Ave SW): East Shelter seats 75 by the playground, West Shelter seats 100 with attached restrooms, both with electricity.
- Pinery Park (2301 DeHoop Ave SW): 50-seat shelter with electricity and a grill. The lodge is indoor, and indoor rentals do not allow inflatables or foam. Gezon Park (5651 Gezon Ct SW): 75-seat South Shelter with electricity. Jackson Park (3235 Robin Ave SW): tents, canopies, and bounce houses are not permitted here, so skip it.
- Church lawns and school fields are simpler: Wyoming, Godfrey-Lee, Godwin Heights, and Kelloggsville all have PTOs and fields. Ask the office where the nearest outlet and outdoor spigot are and we will send a certificate of insurance.

Are you insured, and can a Wyoming school or church get a certificate?
Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and we send a certificate of insurance to Wyoming Public Schools, Godfrey-Lee, Godwin Heights, Kelloggsville, your church, or any venue that wants one on file. Send the event date and a contact name and it goes out ahead of time.
