Water Slide Rental in Grandville, MI — Dash N’ Splash, Delivered and Set Up

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan is a one-man, family-owned inflatable rental company in Caledonia, about 25 minutes from Grandville across the south side of Grand Rapids. Kevin, the owner, is a nurse and a dad, and he delivers, sets up, and tears down every water slide rental in Grandville himself.
Dash N’ Splash is a 25-foot water slide with an obstacle course in front of it, $349 for the day, delivery and takedown included. It is the unit for the kids who have outgrown bouncing, and it fits the yards off Wilson and Ivanrest better than you’d think. We are fully insured, and every unit gets a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing between events.
Check your date and reserve Dash N’ Splash online, or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.
Where to set up in Grandville
A water slide needs one thing a bounce house doesn’t: a hose spigot within 50 feet, on top of the outlet. In a backyard, plan on a level 35′ × 32′ patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete (the 25′ × 22′ unit plus 5 feet of clearance all around), 20 feet overhead with no branches or wires, and a standard outlet and a spigot within 50 feet. We bring the hose and the cord. Grass gets stakes, a driveway gets sandbags, and gravel is out. For a park:
- Kent County’s Johnson Park, just across the Grand River from Grandville, is the one park on this page that lists both water and electric: an open shelter for 150 guests at $150 to $175 a day. Kent County requires Park Manager permission for amusements at least two weeks ahead plus a $25 amusement fee. Ask whether the water is a hose spigot rather than a fountain; if not, the slide runs dry. Reserve online or call (616) 632-7275.
- Wedgwood Park (3391 Wilson Ave SW) is the city’s full-service park: a pavilion, restrooms, a playground, picnic tables and grills, lighted ball fields, and paved parking on 14 acres. Heritage Park (4264 Canal), Mill Race Park (3370 Carlton Park), and Calvin Crest Park (3796 Ivanrest) round out the city list. Shelter reservations go through the Department of Public Works at (616) 538-1990. The city doesn’t publish shelter fees, outlet or spigot details, or an inflatable rule online, and its park rules prohibit tents and alcohol, so ask DPW about a water slide, an outlet, and a hose hookup when you call.
- Farm Market Pavilion downtown (3195 Wilson Ave SW) rents through the Special Events Coordinator at (616) 724-1909 and sits inside the downtown social district, so it’s better suited to grown-up events than a kids’ party.
Church lawns and Grandville Public Schools fields are the simplest of all. Ask the office where the nearest outlet and outdoor spigot are and we’ll send a certificate of insurance.
What we bring
Dash N’ Splash is 25′ long, 22′ wide, and 17′ high. Riders climb the wall, push through pop-up obstacles and tunnels, and finish down the slide into a splash pool. The pool is included, not an add-on. One rider on the slide at a time; Kevin covers that and the rest of the rules before the first climb.
$349 per day, with delivery to Grandville, setup, stakes or sandbags, blower, hose, cord, takedown, and sanitizing included. It runs on one blower on one standard circuit. You provide the outlet and a hose spigot within 50 feet.
It runs wet or dry. Wet for a July birthday in a Grandville cul-de-sac or an August party by the Buck Creek Trail; dry for a cool late-May party, a Grandville High grad open house full of teenagers who’d rather not be soaked, or a fall gathering, when it becomes a straight obstacle course with a slide finish at the same price, no soggy kids.
Pair it with the Extra Large Bounce House for the little kids, or add a foam party or a cotton candy machine (from $110).
How it works
1. Book your date. Pick your date on the rentals page, or text (616) 232-6077 with your date and address.
2. Kevin delivers and sets up. He stakes or sandbags the unit, connects the hose and blower, fills the splash pool, and walks you through the safety rules: one rider on the slide at a time and a responsible adult supervising throughout.
3. You enjoy the party. Afterward we drain, tear down, haul away, and run the three-step sanitizing (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection).
Weather: the slide has to come down if winds exceed 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if conditions look unsafe. Booking: 2 to 4 weeks ahead in peak season (May through September), and summer Saturdays go first.
Water slide FAQs — Grandville edition
How much does a water slide rental in Grandville cost?
Dash N’ Splash is $349 per day, all-in: delivery to Grandville, setup, hose and cord, blower, splash pool, takedown, and sanitizing. No delivery fee for a Grandville address, no surprise line items.
Is delivery to Grandville included?
Yes. Grandville is about 25 minutes from our Caledonia base and inside our included delivery area, from the Rivertown Crossings side of town to the Grand River pathway. If the setup spot is a long carry from where Kevin can park, mention it when you book.
Can I set the water slide up at Johnson Park or Wedgwood Park?
Johnson Park, yes, with Kent County permission: contact the Park Manager at least two weeks ahead, pay the $25 amusement fee, and reserve the open shelter, which lists water and electric. Wedgwood and the other city parks don’t publish outlet, spigot, or inflatable rules, so call DPW at (616) 538-1990 first; without a spigot, the slide runs dry.
What water and power do I need for the slide?
A standard outlet and an outdoor hose spigot, both within 50 feet of the setup spot. We bring the hose and the extension cord, and the blower runs on a single standard circuit. If your site has water but no power, ask us about generator options.
Are you insured, and can you send a certificate to my school or church?
Yes. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured and provides a certificate of insurance on request for Grandville Public Schools, a church office, Kent County Parks, or any venue that asks. Just tell us the name to list.
How far ahead should I book a water slide in Grandville?
Two to four weeks during peak season, May through September, and earlier for a summer Saturday. If you have a specific date, lock it in as soon as you know; weekdays sometimes open up closer in.
