Bounce House Rental in Rockford, MI — Delivered, Staked, and Sanitized

Bigfoot Bounce Houses West Michigan is a one-man, family-owned rental company in Caledonia, about 40 minutes from Rockford up US-131. Kevin, the owner, delivers, sets up, and tears down every bounce house himself, in the city and out through Belmont, Cannonsburg, and the Plainfield Township side.
Your $275 rental includes delivery, setup, stakes or sandbags, the cord, and a hospital-grade three-step sanitizing after your party. No delivery fee for a Rockford address, no surprise line items. We’re fully insured and a 2026 GRKids Family Choice Awards Top 10 Birthday Party Place. Reserve online, or keep reading for where to set it up.
Where to set up in Rockford
Backyards are the easy option: a flat patch of grass, asphalt, or concrete about 30 by 22 feet (the unit plus 5 feet of clearance on every side), 20 feet of overhead clearance, and a standard outlet within 50 feet. No gravel, sand, or rock. Parks around Rockford fall under three different owners:
- Townsend Park (8280 6 Mile Rd, Cannonsburg, Kent County) is the documented option. The fieldstone open shelter rents for $150 a day for up to 80 guests, with a water spigot and electric service the county describes as limited, so tell us it’s Townsend and we’ll plan the blower accordingly. Kent County requires Park Manager permission for “spacewalks” at least two weeks ahead plus a $25 amusement fee. Reserve online or call 616-632-PARK. The nearest restroom is at the enclosed shelterhouse, which seats 125 and has a full kitchen if you want the bigger rental.
- Plainfield Township pavilions at D.W. Richardson Park, Grand Rogue Park, and Versluis Park are reserved through the township’s online request form. Fees, outlets, and inflatable rules aren’t published, so call Parks & Recreation at (616) 363-9399 before you count on one.
- City of Rockford parks such as Garden Club Park and Richardson-Sowerby Park along the Rogue River don’t publish pavilion rules online. Check with City Hall before planning a bounce house downtown.
Rockford kids are used to big fun: the Start of Summer Celebration fills downtown every June with a carnival midway and children’s activities. For a school or church event, ask the office where the nearest outlet is and we’ll send a certificate of insurance.
What we bring
The Extra Large Bounce House is 20 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 16 feet 4 inches tall, with more than 300 square feet of bounce area, mesh windows all the way around, and fire-resistant vinyl. It rents for $275 per day. One blower runs on one standard 110V circuit; blower, cord, and stakes come with it. You supply the outlet within 50 feet and a grown-up to supervise. Five to six kids of similar size can bounce at once.
How it works
1. Book your date. Reserve on the rentals page. From May through September, book 2 to 4 weeks ahead; Saturdays fill first.
2. Kevin sets it up. He stakes it on grass or sandbags it on pavement, checks the blower, and goes over the safety rules with you.
3. Bounce, then we pack up. Kevin tears it down and runs the full sanitizing cycle (sweep and inspect, disinfect, final inspection) before it goes to the next family.
Weather: inflatables come down if winds top 15 to 20 mph or it rains. Kevin watches the forecast and will cancel ahead of time with a full refund if it looks unsafe. Bigfoot might be famous for disappearing into the woods, but we pride ourselves on showing up.
Bounce house FAQs — Rockford edition
How much does a bounce house rental in Rockford cost?
$275 for a one-day rental, including delivery, setup, takedown, and sanitizing. There’s no delivery fee for Rockford. Add a cotton candy machine from $110 if you want a treat table.
Is delivery to Rockford included?
Yes. Rockford is about 40 minutes from our base in Caledonia, and it’s a regular run for us. The city, Belmont, Cannonsburg, and the Plainfield Township neighborhoods all get the same $275 price.
Can I set up a bounce house at Townsend Park?
Yes, with the county’s okay. Reserve the open shelter, then contact the Park Manager at least two weeks before your date for bounce house permission and the $25 amusement fee. The shelter’s electric is limited, so mention the bounce house when you book the park and when you book us, and we’ll talk through generator options if needed.
What power do I need?
One standard 110V outlet within 50 feet of the bounce house; we bring the cord. For a Plainfield Township or city pavilion, ask about an outlet when you call, and if there isn’t one, ask us about generator options.
Are you insured? Can you send a certificate of insurance to my school or church?
Yes on both. Bigfoot Bounce Houses is fully insured, and we’ll send a certificate naming your church, venue, or parent group, whether that’s a family night at Belmont, Cannonsburg, Crestwood, Edgerton Trails, Lakes, Meadow Ridge, Roguewood, or Valley View.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks in peak season, May through September. Grad-party weekends and Start of Summer weekend in early June go fast, so book as soon as you have the date.
